Who is Beneficent?

We’re a career coaching organisation specialising in assisting people with a disability to create their own career path. We assist people to build capacity that supports their independence and removes barriers to employment, we tailor our services to help participants find and keep a job.

Our NDIS services include:

  • School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES): practical assistance for school leavers to build capacity and achieve paid employment.

  • Job Hunter: practical assistance to build capacity and achieve paid employment.

  • Illuminate: a transformation program that develops emotional intelligence skills for improved relationships in life and at work.

  • Counselling Support: to address individual challenges and reduce barriers to achieving life satisfaction and paid employment.

  • Training Support: to assist participants through training programs to reduce barriers to achieving their training goals.

  • Computer Training: tailored one-on-one computer training programs for individuals needing to upgrade their computer skills.

  • Workplace Skills Training: covering a variety of workplace skills that workers need to feel confident about in a workplace.

  • Blossom: a family enrichment program using emotional intelligence skills development aimed at helping families manage the emotional impact of disability and to better be able to support the participant’s needs associated with their disability.

How did Beneficent come to be?

Beneficent was developed from a desire to ‘do good’ for people who have experienced injury, illness or disability and assist participants to enhance their lives and participate in mainstream employment.

Our Managing Director has worked in the employment and disability sectors since 1990 and has extensive experience in employment programs and personal coaching. She has been recognised and awarded for business management, innovation and services that support these industries.

Which regions do Beneficent look after?

We have multiple offices across metropolitan Adelaide and can also service the Adelaide Hills regions, The Fleurieu Peninsula, Mount Gambier and the Limestone Coast, the South Australian Riverland, The Iron Triangle, Yorke and Eyre Peninsulas.

What is the Beneficent difference?

We offer a client-centred approach that ensures our services are individualised and tailored to each person’s needs, and acknowledge that injury, illness and disability have significant effects on a person’s mental, physical, social, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

Our ‘do-no-harm’ values guide our services in a collaborative and compassionate manner, prompting us to ask “What does our client need?”, rather than “What is wrong with them?”.
