Who is Raya Healthcare?
Raya Healthcare was established in 2019 by Adriana and Andrew Velez, with the hope of
being a change agent within the NDIS community. Registered in early 2021, Raya offers many supports, including:
- Support Coordination
- Psychosocial Recovery Coaching
- Housing Options
- Assistance with Daily Activities
- Assistance with Community Participant
Raya Healthcare strives to provide quality supports to allow endless opportunities.
We have a big focus on culture within the company, which reflects in the services we
provide to participants.
How did Raya Healthcare come to be?
The Alice Effect is the reason behind Raya Healthcare. Alice, the niece of Adriana and
Andrew Velez, founders of Raya Healthcare, was born in 2006 with severe cerebral palsy. She was given a life expectancy of just three months. Faced with a tough decision, it was suggested to her parents to turn her life support off.
As of 2023, Alice is turning 17 and has thrived through life. She is still dependent on
machines to keep her alive, but she has shown how one life, her life, can change the lives of
thousands.
Wanting to make sure that no one had to go through what their family went through,
Adriana and Andrew started Raya Healthcare to provide services in the NDIS sector that went above and beyond, not only for participants but for their staff as well.
Which regions does Raya Healthcare Service?
We service any Australian region where people need Support Coordination. Raya
Healthcare does remote and in-person services, so location is no barrier.
What is the Raya Healthcare difference?
The Raya Healthcare difference comes back to The Alice Effect. We want to create
empowerment and inclusion with no one left behind.
Do you have capacity?
We have immediate capacity in South Australia, Victoria, Queensland, and Northern New
South Wales.
